青丘债 The Qingqiu Debt

青丘的桃花开了千年，阿瑶也在山上守了千年。The peach trees of Qingqiu have bloomed for a thousand years, and A-Yao has kept the mountain for just as long.

仙官江宁带着天庭的敕令上山，为的是结清一笔旧债——债主写的是青丘，欠债的却说不清是谁。一个要收，一个不认；从山门对峙到桃林对饮，两个人都以为自己在讲道理，其实早就动了心。Jiang Ning, an official of the heavenly court, climbs the mountain bearing a decree to settle an old debt — the creditor is written as Qingqiu, but no one can say who the debtor is. One comes to collect, one refuses to admit it. From a standoff at the gate to drinking together under the blossoms, both believed they were arguing principles. Both had already fallen.

直到那笔债的来处被翻出来：千年前的一场大火、一次顶罪、一句没能说完的话。原来她们不是初遇，是重逢。而天庭的规矩不许这样的重逢——这一次，她们站在了同一边。Then the origin of the debt surfaces: a fire a thousand years ago, a sentence served for another, a line that was never finished. They were not meeting for the first time. They were meeting again. Heaven's law does not permit such a reunion — and this time, they stand on the same side.
